THAMES NURSE’S REPORT.

Included in Nurse Johnstone’s report to the monthly meeting of the Thames branch of the Plunket Society was the following :—

Thames.—Visits to rooms : Adults 140, babies 87, older children 35 ; total 262.

Out-stations. —Adults 103, babies 101, older children 47 ; total, 251. Visits to Homes. —Headquarters 73, out-stations 74.

New Cases. —Breast-fed 8, breast and complimented 3 ; total, 11.

Kerepeehi.—Rooms : Adults 32, babies 32, older children 15 ; total, 79.

Turua.—Rooms : Adults 19, babies 19, older children 8 ; total, 46.

Ngatea.—Rooms : Adults 25, babies 23, older children 20 ; total, 68. Waitakaruru. —-Rooms : Adults 27, babies 27, older children i ; total, 58. Car Mileage.—Thames 135, out-sta-tions 410.

Cash Received.—Sale of emulsion, Karilac, etc., £2l 13s lOd ; literature, 6s 9d ; donation box, £2 0s 6d ; total, £24 Is Id. Nurses’ Association. During the course of the meeting it was intimated that at a meetii g of the Plunket Nurses’ Association held in Hamilton on May 11, it was decided to join the Auckland branch. By joining Auckland they would have the opportunity of attending conferences, perhaps twice yearly, and so keep in touch with the bigger centres and further the work in consequence.
