SUCCESSFUL DANCE.

A most successful and enjoyable dance was held in the Parish Hall, Paeroa, on Wednesday evening. The hall was beautifully decorated and the floor in perfect order, added to which it was not too crowded, making for

more pleasurable dancing. . The waltz competition was won by Miss P. Swift and Mr L. McDonald, whose splendid exhibition brought it forcibly to mind that one does not in these days see much of the graceful dancing of years gone by. Miss C. Fleming and Mr K. Page won the Monte Carlo waltz, closely followed by Mrs Tripling and Mr L. McDonald. Mrs Bain and Mr W. Fathers carried off the honours in the Spot Waltz competition.
