GOLF.

THE PAEROA CLUB. The first round of the Club Handicap, medal play, was to have taken place on the Paeroa golf links on Saturday, but as no entries were received it could not be gone on with. The players apparently preferred to play their own games, and at the end of the day only one card was handed in. Owing to the fact that the first round of the Club Handicap was not played, it has been decided to play the match on June 29, in conjunction with the Junior Championship, which was to have been played on Saturday next.

On Saturday next, June 22, a Flag match (mixed foursomes) will be played. This match has been brought forward from August 17.
