One cannot fail to be interested in the bountiful supply of topical photographs provided in this week’s issue of the “N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review.” Football has a very fine showing with the trial Rugby match at Athletic Park to select All Blacks, and the Rugby Test between New Zealand and Australian University teams. Racing snapshots extend ovei' several pages devoted to the conclusion of the season at Ellerslie. The centre pages are a real delight with scenes from Las Rocque, Spain, cute animal studies, Hollywood beauties, and the Signal Hill oilfield. Special features deserving mention are a page of fascinating fashions, a novel frontispiece, a page of caricatures, and a coloured supplement of Miss Peggy Robertson, the intermediate girl’s champion swimmer.
