HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports :— At the weekly stock market in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a good yarding of beef which met with keen competition and sold at late rates. An average yarding of fat sheep and store cattle came forward, also a good yarding of fat baconers and porkers, which sold at late rates, prime baconers avferaging from 61d to 7d per lb and porkers 6d to 6|d per lb. Wo quote :— Fat steers £ll 10s to £l2 13s ; fat cows £lO to £ll 5s ; medium fat cows £8 8s to £9 15s, light £7 to £8 2s 6d, forward £6 Is to £6 15s, store £2 15s to £4 10s ; forward-conditioned steers up to £8 19s ; vealers up to £4 9s ; dairy cows from £6 10s to £B. Sheep : Fat lambs 24s to 30s, fat ewes 255. Pigs : Heavy baconers £3 19s to £4 4s, medium baconers £3 8s to £3 15s, light £2 18s to £3 4s ; heavy porkers £2 14s to £2 19s, medium £2 4s to £2 Ils, light 30s to £2 ; stores 23s to 31s; slips 15s to £1 ; weaneu-s 10s to 14s.
