LAST SATURDAY’S PLAY.
The Hauraki Plains Ladies’ hockey competition was continued on Saturday in good weather.
At Turua the Waitakaruru team beat Turua by five goals to one, the scorers being Misses F. Berney (3), A. Peters (2). For Turua Miss McAlister shot the goal. The three Courtney sisters shot the nine goals in the Kerepeehi A v. B match, Martha 4, Myrtle 3, and Dot 2. In the Kopuarahi A v. School match Miss A. Gandy shot three goals, and Miss K. McKerchar, for School, registered two goals. In the men’s game H. Kerby (2) and H. Candy were the scorers for Kopuarahi, while L. Young shot the goal for Turua.
