MINISTER OF LANDS.

TOUR OF DISTRICT. VISIT TO PAEROA AND PLAINS. In acceptance of an invitation extended to him by Mr A. M. Samuel, M.P. for the Thames electorate, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, Minister of Lands, will arrive at Kerepeehi on the 17th inst. as the commencing point of a tour over part of the Hauraki Plains and Coromandel Peninsula. After receiving deputations at Kerepeehi the Minister will proceed to Turua, Orongo Settlement, and Thames, where lunch will be partaken of. Leaving Thames in the afternoon, the party will drive to Coromandel, staying the night there. Most of Saturday and Sunday morning will be spent in Thames, Waihi being the venue that afternoon. On Monday morning deputations will be met and inspectations made at Waihi before proceeding to Paeroa. The Arrival at Paeroa. The Ministerial party will arrive at Paeroa on Monday, the 20th inst., in time for dinner, and the evening has been set apart for the reception of deputations. A start will be made early on Tuesday morning for Te Aroha, where, after business is concluded, the party will remain to lunch, proceeding later to Morrinsville, Tahuna, and Cambridge.
