ST. PAUL’S CHURCH.

MEETING OF PARISHIONERS. At the annual meeting of parishioners of the Anglican Church on Monday evening the Rev. W. G. H; Weadon, vicar,. presided. The proceedings opened with prayer, after which the vicar read his report for the year* ending March 31, 1929, in which the unfortunate financial position, of the parish funds was mentioned. List of Officers. General business having been gone into, the'following officers were elected :— . Vicar’s Warden, Dr. G. T. Smith ,' People’s Warden, Mr W. J. Towers ; Vestry, Messrs W. Barclay, L. C, Cane, W. J. Ellis, R. W. Evans, W. Fathers, C. Moorhouse, S. Nicholls, J. Welsh, and F. G. Williams ; Synodsmen, Messrs R. W. Evans and W. J. Towers ; Ruridecanal Board, Messrs F. C. Blyth, R. W. Evans, and W. J. Towers ; Auditor, Mi- R. S. Carden ; Secretary, to be elected at first vestry meeting.
