CRICKET.
FINAL OF PLAINS COMPETITION VICTORY FOR KOPUARAHI. The Hauraki Plains Cricket Association’s competition has been won by the Kopuarahi club, which beat Ngatea in the two-days play-off match which terminated on Saturday last. In the first innings Kopuarahi made 114 runs, and on Saturday last compiled 48 runs, whereas Ngatea made 48 and 73 on the respective days. Details are as follows :— NGATEA—First Innings. R.
