PROPOSED VISIT TO PAEROA. THE MAYOR’S INTIMATION. The Mayor, Mr W. Marshall, has received intimation from the Minister of Labour, the Hon. W. A. Veitch, that he will visit Paeroa on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 30, and will be pleased to attend to any public business on that day. Mr A. M. Samuel, M.P., also wired to say he hoped to be present on that day and to arrange any local deputation. The Hon. W. A. Veitch will leave Ngaruawahia by car for Te Aroha on the morning of the 30th, and receive deputations during the afternoon in Paeroa. Proceeding that evening to Waihi, where he will stay the night preparatory to receiving deputations the following morning, Mr Veitch will travel to Thames on the Thursday afternoon. Spending the night at Thames, official business will be conducted on Friday morning, after which the Minister will journey to Pokeno.
