ANZAC DAY.

PROGRAMME AT PAEROA. PROPOSED CEREMONIALS. The programme for Anzac Day this year will practically correspond with that of previous years. The day previous Lieut. Innes, N.Z.S.C., who was actually with the A.N.Z.A. Corps on Gallipoli Peninsula, wil address the pupils of the District High School, an occasion at which the attendance of parents will be welcomed. On Anzac Day proper a parade of returned soldiers, territorials, cadets, firemen, and girl guides will form and march to the school. Here a wreath will be placed on the Roll of Honour. After this the parade, under the command of Major E. A. Porritt, M.C., and headed by the band of the Haurakis, will proceed by way of Normanby Road and Mackay Street to the Domain. At the rotunda the memorial service will be held, the Rev. F. Bateup leading the prayer and the Rev. W. G. H. Weadon preach* ing the sermon of the day. Should the weather be too inclement for services in the open, they will be held in the Gaiety Theatre.
