Sir, —I notice in the report of the discussion on the Pipiroa bridge published in the “Gazette” that Cr. Parfitt said “he was glad to see that Cr. Reid supported bridges being made a charge on the whole county.” I have never supported a proposal to make bridges a charge on the whole county, and I am not in favour of it at present. J. A. REID.
