HALF HOLIDAY.
(To the Editor.) , Sir, —Although the on mayoralty and councillors has been decided, there remains the important question to the town and sport of which day shall be observed as, the half-holiday. I understand that triose who are in favour of keeping open on Saturday afternoon are actively working, yet there is no move by those who hold the opposite views in the way of doing anything to counteract the movement. While holding decided views on the "Subject, and fearing that our sports, namely, football, tennis, golf, cricket, and hockey, will suffer, I think that it behoves all sports to get busy. ; SPORT.
