HAMILTON STOCK SALE.
Tho Farmers* Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At the .V’.'.qkly stoe.k market in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a short market of beef cattle which sold at late rates. A small number of fat sheep ?■ ere penned and si*ld firm at slightly improved values, and a fair entry of fat pigs sold at usual rates. We quote : Beef.—Heavy fat cows £8 17s to £lO 2s 6d, medium weight £7 10b to £B, light .£(> 13s to £7, unfinished! .£5 10s to £6 2s 6d. Jersey and Jersey cross heifer calves £3 to £3 3s. Sheep. -Medium weight fat wothqrs 33.', extra, prime fat ewes 29s fat lambs 26s 9d to 27s 3d, shorn ewe lambs 20s Id, small 2-tooth ewes 29s 6d.
Pigs.—Baconers. £3 10s to £3 12s light baconers £3 4s to £3 6s, porkers £2 10s tn £2 19s, lig’ht £1 19s to £2 7s. slips 14's 6d, weaimrs Bs.
