OBITUARY.

MR. DILLON SHAW. The death occurred on Thursday, last, after a short illness, of Mr Dillon Shaw, proprietor of the "Whangamata Hotel. The. deceased was born in Paeroa, and has resided in. and around the dstrdct practically the whole of his lifetime. He; was the third son °f Mrs Martha an<l the late Mr James Shaw, who were old residents of Paeroa. As a young, man the deceased i epresented Paeroa at football, and was very popular with his wide circle of friends, who wih regret to hear of his demise at Che early age of 45 years. He leaves to mourn hi& loss a vidow, three daughters, and one son.

The late Mr Shaw’s remains wqf& laid to test in the Paeroa Cemetery on Saturday afternoon.
