BURGLARIES AT PAEROA.
HOUSE RAN SACKED. FEMININE ARTICLES SOUGHT. The home of Mu and Mrs S. J. Hedge, on Te Aroha Road, was entered 1 cn Friday night, between 7.30 and 9 o’clock. Admittance was gained through a back window, and the bedroom appears to have been the chief attraction, indications are that the intruder was thq same person who entered the at New Year time. Mrs Hedge’s wardrobe w as completer ly ransacked of everything, including, all her toilet articles. A number of Mr Hedgiy’s articles of clothing were also taken, besides al] their gramophone records. So far no trace or indication of who the perpetrators were has been gainedTHEFT OF MONEY. BOARDINGHOUSE ENTERED. I A fairly substantial sum of money is reported to have beqn stolen from Mrs Sait, of. the Railway Boardinghouse, on Thursday. Mrs salt is in the habit of keeping tier purse in her bedroojn, and on going into her room on Thursday afternoon to get it in order to pay an ac-. c.- .nt slic found that it. had disappeared. Tin burglar left nci trace, and has apparently got away scot free.
