FIRE AT KATIKATI.

TALISMAN HOTEL BURNED. TOTAL LOSS SUSTAINED. The Talisilian Hotel, Katikati, was burned to the ground early this morning. The fire started about 4 o’clock, and soon gained an unconquerable hold on the building, which was of. wood and one- of the oldest hotels in the South Auckland district. No one was 'hurt.

The premises we;re insured, but Mr A. \V. Anderson, the licensee, and the guests staying there lost all their personal effects.
