Ngatea.—BBo cows, 7731 b milk, 3.9 test, 30.471 b fat last season ; 981 cows, 7411 b milk, 3.9 test, 29.07 fat this season. Highest herd, of 48 c.ows, averaged 36.751 b fat; highest cclw 631 b fat, lowest 311 b fat.
Netherton.—969 Cows, 6861 b milk, 1.0 test, 28.101 b fat last season ; 1374 cows, 6681 b milk, 4.1 lest, 27.81 fat this season- Highest herd, of. 4'2 cows, averaged 38.801 b fat; highest cow 851 b fat, lowest 51b fat. Patetonga.—974 cows, 6711 b milk, 1.1 test, 27.871 b fat last season ; 713 caws, 6751 b milk, 4.4 test, 30.031 b f.at this season. Highest herd, of 28 cows, averaged 36.671 b fat; highest cow 741 b fat, lowest 91b fat.
Shelly Beach.—463 cows, 6891 b milk, 4.1 tie'st, 28.481b'fat last season; 302 cows, 6081 b milk, 4.2 test, 26.031 b fat this season. Highest herd 1 , of 40 cows, averaged 32.951 b fat; highest cow 541 b fat, lowest 71b fat. Turua.—s99 cows, 7381 b milk I'.O test, 30.201 b fat last .season ; 629 cows 7421 b milk, 4.2 test, 31.881 b fat this season. Highest herd, of. 72 cows, averaged 40.131 b fat; highest c,ow 601 b fat. lowest 61b fat. Waihi.—-960 cows, 6271 b milk, 4.2 test, 26.831 b fat last season ; 915 cows, 7511 b milk, 4.3 tept, 32.471 b fat this season. Highest herd, of '5O Cows, averaged 41.061 b fa,t; highest coiw 711 b fat, lowest 31b fat. Waitakaruru. —527 cows, 7661 b milk, cows, 7461 b milk, 4.2 test, 31.601 b fat 3.9 test, 30.111 b f.at last season ; 384 this season. Highest herd, of 29 cows, averaged 40.861 b fat; highest cow 261 b fa,t, lowest 71b fat. The highest monthly group average was that of Tairua with 37.291 b fat; the; highest herd average, that of Merc.ury Bay with 49.771 b f.at; and' the highest individual edw was in the Kihikihi group, with 941 b fat. The average for 73,921 cows tested in January was 7181 b mil.k, 4.3 test, and 31.471 b fat. Last season, there were 68,280 cows tested: in January with an average of 6321 b milk, 4.2 test, and 26.711 b fat.
