AUTOMOBILE ASSN.
INSPECTION OF ROADS. VISIT TO THIS DISTRICT. Mr R. E. Champtaloup, touring manager, of tlie Auckland Automobile] Association, and of the council will pay a visit off inspection to this district on Tuesday, March 5, when they hope to meet all the members of the local branch. The party .will leave Auckland on Monday, March 4, and travel via Poke;no and Paeroa to Waihi. On. the following day they visit. Whajigamata and Waitawheta Gorge, and address a meeting at Paeroa in the evening. On Wednesday tibia new Mirk on Kaimai Hill road will be inspected, and on Thursday a visit paid, to Okauia hot. springs. An inspection will als.o • be; made of the MatamatasWaitoa road and the Morrinsville-Walton road’, the party travelling via the Glaxo factory to Te Aroha. The following day, Friday, March S, they return to Auckland via Kerepeehi, Ngatea, Waitakarurii, Kaihere, and Te Kauwhata.
The membership of the local brand* has steadily increased, andi it is hoped there will be a good muster on Tuesday evening next, to welcome the officials to Paeroa.
