HANGMAN’S HOUSE.
“Hangman’s House” is a dramatic s.tory woven round the love of a girl for her father who is forced to marry a man she abhors. In. the gripping situations, which follow she loses her father, discovers that her husbapd is. a scoundrel, and is forced to flee in order to save her life. Miss G&lly® 1 ’. portraying this difficult role, rises to dramatic, heights of characterisations. She is in the action from thej outset, reacting with understanding sympathy to. the dramatic episodes in which she appears with Victor McLaglen, Lawrence Kent, Eaxle Foxe, and Hobart Bosworth. Some of the magnificent sets evepr erec.ted in Hollywood were designed for this story. One huge set, built in Fox Hills at enormous expense, was burned to the ground in shooting authentic scenes in and near thej h'omc of “Jimmy the Hangman,” as played by Mr Bosworth.
