NGATEA. SCHOOL PICNIC. Tbe Ngatea District High School held its annual picnic at the beach; at Waiomio, Thames Coast, on Friday last. Ten motor-buses or motor-lorries wqre used to transport the and their parents, ajnd many went iu their own cars. It was estimated that there were over 300 present. Nearly everyone went in swimming before lunch, and many had anbther swim before returning home. During, the afteiuoon the major attraction' was the children’s sports, the results cd which are as follows: —
