ANNUAL PICNIC. The annual picnic, of the Tirohia Public School was held ©jr Saturday last at the farm of Mr Kenney. This fixture has been held far thq last few years, but this year’s function was; by general consent classed as “the best yet.” There were about 200 present, pakeha and Maori vying with each other to make the event thoroughly enjoyable to everyone.

When “ cow-time” arrived everyone reluctantly departed for work, a little tired butt well contented.
