Their wants attended to by fifteen courteous arid able assistants, a large crowd thronged J. P. Gamble’s, “The Home of Good Value,” this morning, on the occasion of their special sale. The purchasers wqre unanimous in their ■ praise of the wonderful bargains secured, commenting freely on the first-class quality and styles of goods in question. Remarks as to hciw it was possible to sejl.l such excellent stock at so low a cost were 'freely expressed. Satisfaction was expressed: in the smiling face of every buyqr, loaded with purchases to make the whole household happy, for men, women, and children alike were catered for, all family needs being procurable. The sale; is to be continued this afternoon, and to thiqse who want to save money, and at the same time to purchase draperies, clothes, millinery, etc., of. undaubtqd excellence, the advice is offered, “Go to Gambles” before it ft too latq. phe does not usually associate exclusive; ffocks with sales; yet they are there at Gamble’s. To-morrow Gamble’s will hold a half-price remnant sale, with, bargains to suit all.
