The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co. t Ltd., report:—

Thq Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports having held its usual Frankton sale pin Tuesday last, when only a medium yarding of beef, and fat sheep, but a full yardfing of store sheep, came forward. Be;eL was in keen demand and firm at late rates. Fat sheep were slightly easier. Though the demand for all store sheep was good, prices did not realise previous values. A heavy yarding of fat pigs of good quality sold at ad? vanced rates, competition being keen throughout. Store; pig? sold at late rates. We quote Medium fat steers £l4 7s 6d to £l5 4s, lighter prime £l2 Ils to £l3 10s; heavy fat cows and heifers £9 12s 6d to £lO, lighter £8 5s to £ t 9 5.5, killable £6 17s 6d to £7 15s, runners £6 15s to £7 ss, vealers £4 10s to; £5 ss.
