Mr W- Fleming has returned to Paeroa after an extended trip to the Old Country and Papua.
•Mi; C. W. Malcolm, of the staff of the Paeroa. District High School, arrived back yesterday from Australia after an extensive tour.
Mr G. H. Heal, Lieutenant N.Z.S.C., after attending Sandhurst Military College and serving with the King’s Own Scottish Bor.derers, has arrived in Paeroa to take up military duties in the district. ’
Mr W. Gubb, District Grand Master, Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows, is staying at the Royal Mail Hotel. Mr Gubb, in his official capacity, is visiting the local lodge and the Past Grands’ Lodge of the Thames Valley.
