NIGHT-PLAY COMPETITION. LAST NIGHT’S RESULTS. The night-play competitions were continued on the local green lastnight, the winning team proving to be that skipped by Forrest. Following are Ihe details :— Mrs Holland, Mrs Masters, G. Masters, Forrest 21, v. Miss Mahon, Mrs Silcpck, Follas, Lowry 11; Mrs Chamberlain, .Mrs Gunn, Masters, Mettam 19, v. Mrs Wright, Miss Malcolm, Knight, Chamberlain 7; Miss Swann, Morland, Mrs Avey, Wrjght 15, v. Mrs Morland, Bracket, Mrs -McKenna, Pye '9. FORREST BUTTONS. HOLDERS DEFEATED. Last evening a further match for. the Forrest Buttons was played!, a challenge -having been issued by a team comprising Mesdames Silcpck, Hale, Say, and Finnie. The game was very exciting, and the holders, Miss Gibb, Miss Finnie, Ashcr.oft, and Grant, suffered defeat by one point, the scores, being 18 —17 in favour of the challengers. (On the last head the decision was gained by half an inch, the measurers being called into action.
