MATCH AGAINST WAITOA. The Piako Cricket Association’s competition will be continued on Saturday, when the Paeroa and Waitoa teams will meet- on the local ground. The Paeroa team has been selected as follows :— Meache;m, Dale, Stack, Miller, Knight, Wright, Edwards, Taylor. Howard, Ball, Dare. Emergencies.: Rolton, McQuillan, .Mayo. CHALLENGE FOR COURT CUP. The Paeroa Cricket Club has issued a challenge to the Thames Club to play for the Court Cup. This cup was plesentejd by Mr A. Court, and is open to be played for by teams representing the Thames, Waihi, Paeroa, and Hauraki Plains associations or subassociations. The conditions appoint Thames as the first holders, and Paeroa’s challenge asks for the match to be played on January 29.
