EIGHT RINKS TO MAKE THE TRIP. ■ A team of eight rinks from the local bowling club is to vis,it Thames on Saturday afWnoon to play the annual inter-club game. Players wishing to make the trip are asked to put their names on the notice beard. FORREST BUTTONS MATCTL HOLDERS RETAIN TROPHIES: A challenge for the Forrest Buttons was put 1 in against the holders, Miss Gibb, Miss Finnie, Ashcroft, and Grant, by -j team comprising Miss Say, Miss Morland, Knight, and Pye, but the holders withstood all efforts and retained ts.e; coveted buttons .with | a score of 17 to 13. The game was an exciting one up to the 18th head. On the 7th head the game stood at 5 all, on the 13th head 9 all, on the 17th head 11 all. On the 18th head! the holders registered 1 and on the next head 4, following with another. 1 on the 20th head, but on the 21st head the challengers put on 2, the game ending 17—13.
