COMMERCIAL.
TURUA STOCK SALE. A very good yarding of cattle and sheep, considering, the; time of the year, was penned at the Turua yards on Friday,, when Messrs A. Buckland and Son conducted their, monthly sale. Very satisfactory prices were realised for blef and sheep, but only a few second-class springers were offered and these sold at fr.om £7 to £9. Prime fat young cows and heifers realised from £8 to £9 7s 6'd, lighter £6 15s to £ 7 l'ss; store and boner cows £3 15s to £6 12s 6d ; heavy fat bulls £8 to £lO, lighter £3 10s to. £7. One hundred and fifty head 1 of. cattle were yarded and 145 were sold. All of the; 168 sheep yarded were sold. Fat shorn ewes sold at from 225; to 23s 6d ; cull ewes 9s; fat lambs 23s to 245.
