ODDFELLOWSHIP.
( LOYAL JUBILEE LODGE. MEETING IN SOLDIERS’ CLUB. The first meeting in 1929 of thq Loyal Jubilee Lodge, No. 7446, M.U.1.0.0.F., paeroa, was held in the Returned Soldiers’ Club, Paeroa, last evening. Advice was received that the. Auck-, land District Grand Master, P.G. Bro. Walter Gubb, of Tuakau, would visit the lod-gp on the 22ndi Inst. Arrangements in c.onnection with the visit were finalised and an invitation extended to adjacent lodges. The meeting decided to epnvey congratulations to P.F.S. Bio. Walter North, P.G., a former secretary of the lodge, who was married during the holiday season. L.M.P.G. Bro. W. Power tendered his resignation as, L.M. and auditor owing, to the fact that his work necessitated periods of absence from Paeroa. Eulogistic. reference war made to the services of Bro; Power to the lodge and the Order, and it was unanimously decided to place on record the appreciation of the lodge; Bto. C. E-. J. Gwilliam, P.G., was elected L.M. At the Auckland District Confer-, enc.e, M.U., to be held l in Auckland during March, two remits from the Jubilee Lodge will be presented. The lodge had for consideration the proposed remits 'of M.U. Lodges of the Thames Valley, these, having been circulated by the Thame? Valley Past Grands’ Lodge. The annual Christmas Tree function was reported on by the secretary, P.G. Bro. J. M. Fox. Bro. Fox was congratulated on the succ.ess of his efforts.
