GIRL DIES IN AGONY.

STRANGE CASE AT NEWCASTLE. SYDNEY, January 8. A strange poisoning, case is reported from Newcastle. The victim, Alma Kennedy, aged 24, an hotel employee, died in agpny to-day. The girl had not given any indication of an intention to commit suicide. It is not known what fo,od she had eatqn prior to her death.

The relatives of the deceased state that she was very bright and cheerful when she went home from wbrk. A post-.mortem examination is to be made.
