WEDDINGS.

MORRISON—ROSENFELDT. Picturesque and dainty was a. wed L ding at Holy Trinity Church, Devonpert. held on Tuesday evening, January 1, when Miss Marjorie Juanita Rosenfeldt, eldest' daughter of Mr and Mrs G. H. Rosenfeldt, Vauxhall Road, Devonport, became the wife of Mr John Morrison, eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. Morrison, of Paeroa:, The ceremony was performed by Canon Grant Cowen, of St. Matthew’s Church. The church was beautifully decorated by girl friends of th§ bride. Entering, the church »on the arm of her father, the bride -made a. charming figure, in an early Victorian frock of ivo.ry Duchess satin and sheer silver lace. The bodice, slightly ruched, formed scollops at the; waistline. The full skirt reaching to the ankles was finished with a wide band of silver, lace, and revealed the popular uneven he/mline. A hand-made spray of orange blossom and silver lame was worn on the left shoulder and hip. Silk embroidered tullqformed .the; veil and train, and was gathered iinto a coronet of orangje blossom. A shower bouquet of Christmas lilies, carnations, and lily of the valley completed her toilet. The chief b; idesmaid, Miss Muriel Rosenfeldt, v. . e a frock of rois de bois crepe de; chine and silver lac.e, finished with silver, leaves and flowqrs. The second bridesmaid, Miss Dorothy Rosenfeldt, wore a frock of Nile green crepe dq chine and tulle. Both wore turbans of silver, lame and tulle, and carried shower bouquets to tone with the frocks. Little Betty Rosenfeldt was a flower-girl ■in an early Victorian frock of ivory satin and frilled l tulle. Mr.. Carl Rosenfeldt, brother of the bride, attended the bridegroom as best man, and Mr W. Hooker, as groomsman.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the Navy League Rooms. At .the entrance hall Mr. and Mrs Rosenfeldt received their gusts, Mrs Rosenfeldt wearing a French frock of black satin, trimmedi with pastel shade*; of georgette and brilliants, with black hat and osprey to match. Her bouquet was of autumn shaded tints.

NORTH—BEST;

The wedding was solemnised in the Morrinsville Methodist Church on Wednesday, January 2, of Gladys, eldest daughter of. Mr and Mrs A. G. Best, of Morrinsville, and Walter, eld 1 - est son of Mr and Mrs W. F. No,rth, Paeroa. The Rev. E. E. Sage officiated, and the church was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The bride wore a charming crepe de chine frock of delicate fawn colour, trimmed with saxe blue flowers, and a picture hat to to.ne. Her shower bouquet was of wlhite and blue, flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss Lottie Best, wore pink crepe de chine, wilfrh black picture hat, and carried a bouquet of pink flowers. Mr Alan North, of Paerfra, was best man. After, the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, Mrs Best receiving the guests in a becoming frock of grey gaberdine. Mrs, North wore nigger brown maro.cain.
