HAURAKI PLAINS MATCHES* THE FOURTH SERIES. The fourth series of matches under the control of .the Hauraki Plains Crifeket Association were concluded on Saturday last in good .weathqr. Ngatea won its match again'qt -Waitak.aruru by an innings and 9 runs, for on Saturday the visiting team only made 35 runs and was 44 behind on the first innings.

The pipiroa-Kaihere game at Pipir.oa had a very close finish. Pipiroa required 68 runs to draw, but when 67 had been securiedl W. Knox, who had held up his end from the beginning of the innings, was caught out. Kopuarahi lost in. both innings in the match against Orongo, the totals being 99 and 114 respectively.
