The Rev. N. Rober.tshawe, vicar, of St. George’s Anglican Church, Thames, has been granted 12 months’ leave of absence, and will leave Thames on February 25 for Sydney, where lie will join the P. and O. steamer Maloja.

Staff Sergeant-Majop (W.O. 1) N. C. Busby, N.Z.S.C., has been awarded the. long-service 1 and good-conduct medal. This Us a silver, medal awarded to warrant officers, non-com missioned officers, and men of the N.Z. Permanent Force who have served fey 18 years.
