CORRESPONDENCE.

POLITICS AND EDUCATION. (To the Editor.! Sir, —In your report of Mr McGregor’s address published) inj your issue of 9th inst., he is said to ha.ve stated, that the United Party stood for free, secular, and compulsory education ; but you omitted his comment, that he was not with his party op this plank of its platform. This means that he differs from his party’s platform inasmuch as he personally is in favour of the Bible in schools, while his party is not. Mr McGregor should make this quite dear. FAJR PLAY.
