HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports : — At the weekly stock market in the Frankton yards on , Tuesday, October 30, wq had an average yarding of beef which scdd at last week’s rates. There was a large yarding of mutton which was slightly easier. We quote : — Cattle. —Medium ftt steers £l3 18s to £l5, light £l3 4s, fat heifers £ll to £l2 7s 6d, lighter £9 12s 6d to £lO 4s, fat cows £lO 7s 6d to £ll 15s, medium fat £9 10s to £lO 10s, light £7 to £8 17s 6d, forward-conditioned cows £5 2s to £6 6s, boners £4 to £5 ss, vejalers 32s tc ; 395, runners £5 2s 6d, yearling Jersey heifers £5 6s, Shorthorn £4 ss, bobby calves, best, 14s to 16s, medium 11s .to 13s, light8s to 10s.
Sheep.—Wethers realised 33s 6d, fa,t ewes 25s 6d to 27s sd, lighter 20s, woolly fat ewes 26s 9d, fat hoggets £2.
Pigs.—Heavy baco.ners £3 2s, light £2 15s to £2 18s, 'heavy porkers £2 Bs, to £2 12s, light £2 2s to; £2 ss, slips 22s .to 265, wea-ners 12s. to- 20s.
