KOPUARAHT. . TENNIS CLUB. The kqpuaraihi Tennis Qlub, which held its annual meeting on Tuesday 'evening, anticipates a very successful - season. The membership i®, about i thirty, and there a rq many promising ' new players. • The club cpnimences the s.e.ason with a credit baljapce of £9, and intends improving its 1 courts prior to the openjng day, Saturday, 27th inst. Abbott; secretary, Miss, Edna Candy ; captain and selector', Mr. B. McMillan ; delegate; to Pfafns Association, Mr B. J. McMillan. I ■' HOUSE PARTY. ; A very enjoyable 'house party was held ajt t'he residence of Mr and Mrs E. C. jßarriball, Nga.tea, on Wednesday ev< jqing-, with the. purpose; of raising funds for the Ngatea District High School ladies’ hqckey club. About fifty people, were present.
