The programme, which c,ons,ists of seven events, has been approved l by theAuckla.nd District Committee, and includes : Trial Handicap, of 5% furlongs ; Handicap Hack Hurdles, iy 3 miles ; Spring High-weight Handicap, 6 furlongs; Paeroa Cup Handicap, 1% miles.; Lady’s Bracelet Handicap, 6 furlongs ; Plains Handicap, 7 furlongs; and Publicans’ Purse Handicap. The meeting will be a non-t'otalisa-tc.r one, an.d therefore more in the nature of a- genuine sports, gathering, but the club anticipates not only a good response from horse-owners, but also a fairly large attendance, of the sporting public from the surroifading districts,
