PROGRESS FOR THE MONTH. REPORTS BEFORE COUNCIL. The following rep'orta were received by till© Hauraki Plains Cqußty Council tfct its, monthly meeting on Thursday last.— INSPECTOR’S REPORT. The cqunty iqspector,Mr -W. White, reported that the erection of notice J boards, throughout the county relative to sneed restrictions and indicating schools had be>en carried out. Four building permits had been issued, ini respect of two garages, a wash-hquse, and annexe, amounting to £255. Two persons, had been proceeded against * fqr Hjjeeding and one for breach of by-laws. The three were convicted, fines and costs, amounting to £7 being imposed. Five prosecutions are pending,, one for speeding apd) four, for breaches of by-ilaws.
