AURORA THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. FLAMING WATERS. The boundless romance and colour that is blended with the ‘‘black gold” of t,hei qil-ifields, built up into a sensational melodrama j n which the c.limax f.s no less than a literal, river of fire sweeping down on the helple'ss lives that, happen, to be within its pajh, is depicted with startling effect in “Flamin|g, Waters,” to be presnto<i this evening. SATURDAY NIGHT. A MAN’S PAST. “A Man’s Past,” which is qn the programme for to-morrow night, is a gripping drama of an eminent surgeon who ecaped from a, living death to fame and favour, but whoso grim, past cast its show before him at every turn on the road 1 to happiness. ONE ROUND HOGAN. “One Round Hogan,” to be screened, to-morrow night, is, the story of a ehampioip! fighter, the son of a champion. W.iht he exception of Leila Hyams, who play's the feminine lead, thei cast is composed entirely of fam-ou.-j fighters and figures qf the squared circle. James J. Jeffries, most colourful of world’s heavyweight boxing champions, is seen as Monte Blue’s father, in this film. TURUA PICTURES. THE AUCTIONEER. George Sidney, veteran, 'actor of the spoken stage, appears in the title role in, “The Auctioneer,” which will be screened at the Turua Hall to-moi-rcw night, and is peculiarly equipped) for the part. “The Auctioneer” is a clean, wholesome film, anjfl the story” has a sitroiiig human appeal. THE MAGIC FLAME. On Tuesday next “The Magic Flame” will be screened. This is a story qf clowns and counts, eirqus; and court, love and laughter. The action occurs in a Mediterranean; country, a qircu's furnishing the background against which Vilma Banky and Roiir aid Colman make love. CONCERT AT NETHERTON. A concert, under the auspices of the Paeroa Presbyterian Bible Classes, will be given in the Netheirton Hall to-morrow Evening,' in aid of the debt fund of the cjhurch. A varied programme of musical, vocal, ahd elocutionary items will be submitted. Included in the programme isi a playette “Thq Knave of Hearts,” and .a; oneriUct play “The Dear Departed.”
