Yqung I Julius had to be enticed into the I ’plane. The straps; were securely I buckled about his waist, and, as ani added precaution, his hands wore strapped! with double belts'. His elder brother, Irving, jumped out, leaving the youngster in the ’plane ajlone with the pilot. ' I . The ’plane is owned by the Brotok-5 lyn Aeroi Club, and was flown by RL FCullman. According to Mrs Shafed, the piloft instructed to put the machine through all the “'stunts” of which it was capable, including lobps, sideslips, steep bapks, and turns. “I 'Could "tee Julius’s hands sticking up, and I thought he had fainted,” added Mrs Shafer.
