NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 51 of “The Rating Act, 1925,” that it is the intention of the Elstow Drainage Board, at its meeting to be held in its office, Whitaker Street, Te Aroha, on Saturday, the 27th day of October, 1928, at 10 a.m., to make and levy under Section 31 of the "Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and Sections 3 and 4 of the “Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1913,” a general rate upon the unimproved value and upon a graduated scale according to classification of land within the several subdivisions of the Elstow Drainage District as follows : — Within the Ngutumanga Subdivision, upon lands classified “A” 2d in the £, upon lands classified “B,” l|d in the £, and upon lands classified “C,” Id in the £.
