THE NGATEA BRANCH. PAERiOA THE LOADING STATION. The committee of the Ngatea brancji of the N.Z. Co-operative Pig Marketing Association met on Monday mqrpiug, Mr C. W. Schultz presiding over Messrs, P. R. Henry, W. JosieP, J. A. G. Wilson, G. Patop, A. H. McClean, and E. W, Martin (secretary). CARTAGE CONTRACTS. Five tenders, were; received for the contract tq cart, pigs from the various depots to the railway trucks' at Paeroa br Kopu. It was agreed that, it would il(ot be satisfactory tq use Kopu qn account of the fewer number of trains at. that station!, and alsq on, account of the greater facilities, for obtaining trucks and for loading at Paeroa. The; tender of Mr J. H. Nicholson was accepted, apd the chairman and secretary were deputed to fq» the signing of the contract agreement The prices for cartage per. pig were as follows : From Ngatea, Is 3d; Waitakaruru, Is lOfl; Pipiroa, Is 7d; Kerepeehi, ,1s 3d; Turua, Is 3d.
