, HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Limited report : — At the weekly stock market in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a good entry of beef cattle and a small yarding of fat sheep. Values for both classes were unchanged. A full number of fat and store pigs were penned. Competition lacked briskness for all classes. Beef Prime fat steers /j 6 17s 6d to /18, medium weights 19s to ss, prime light 2-',year steers 18s to 7s 6d, unfinished Prime heavy fat cows to X2S, prime heifers and young cows £l2 15s to /13 19s, medium and lighter £ll to /j2 15s, light weights /8 to rough and plain £3 10s to £7 ss. Fresh-conditioned cows £5 ios to £5 15, boners £3 16s to £4 15s. Yearling Jersey and cross heifers £4 ns to £5 6s. Best dairy cows and heifers at profit /j2 los to 10s, medium/jo ios to £ll 10s, inferior £7 to £B. Sheep : Prime fat wethers sold to 45s gd, heavy fat ewes 38s, medium 345. Prime hoggets 32s to 355, forward-conditioned hoggets 30s 6d to 31s, forward-conditioned ewes 245, medium woolly ewe hoggets 345, same class wether hoggets 28s, mixed age ewes with 50 per cent, lambs 34s to 34s 6d. Pigs : Heavy baconers £3 5s to, £3 ios, light baconers £2 15s to £3, heavy porkers £2 6s to £2 12s, light porkers 38s to £2 2s, slips 17s to 225, weaners 8s to 12s.
