CATHOLIC SOCIAL.
A SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. A very enjoyable aqd successful social, in aid of the Ca,thqlic Bazaar, was held in the Soldiers’ Club on Tuesday evening last. Dancing and enchre were the order of the evening. The flocy was in good' order fc ; r dancing, and the music, supplied by the Hauraki orchestra, wa?; all that could be de,sired. The duties of M.C. were: carried out by Messrs C. Vincent, and •M. Beattie. The euchre prizes were won by ■Mesdamqs Lipshani and Gibb, and Messrs Taylor and Fathers. In presenting the prizes the Rev. Father Taylor thanke,d those present foy their support, and also those who had donated prizes and refreshment.
