Goodyear, 5 .ajnd 3 ; Mrs Edwards beat Mrs Henderson,, 3 and 2; Mrs Silcock lost to Mrs Ralfe, 5 and 3 ; Mi3s Gibb beat Mrs Saunders, 6 and 4 ; Miss Tierney beat Mrs Bqigent, 1 up; Miss M'. Thorp beat Miss E. Goodyear, 3 and 2 ; Mrs Hubbard beat Miss Mason, 1 up. The visitors were, met at the station a hd enitertained to luncheon .at the Criterion Hotel, while, at the links the lady 'members of the club put on a very dainty afternoon tea, the tables being beautifully decorated with spring flowers by Mrs E. H. Andrews. Before leaving, the links Ma Alister Matheson, captai,n of the Tauranga Club, called his team together affd expressed on their behalf the appreciation of the manner in which they had been entertained'. He stated that they had brought a fair team, a;nd he felt quite, pleased with the keen tussles that had eventuated'. He congratulated the Paeroa Club on its green?, and hoped'' tha.t regular vj,sSts would be made between the twq clubs.
