A basketball club was formed at a meeting of Nga.tea lalies last evfening. Eleven members were? enrolled, and Miss D. Hayward was appointed secretary and titeasiirer. and Miss; D. Chatfield captain. Application will be made to the school committee for the use of a playing field, and a practice will be held as soon a.s a ball is procured.
