AURORA THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. THE TIMID TERROR. The story of a shy young man overwhelmed with three gfleat desires is told in “The Timid Terro.it,” to be presented this evening. George; O’Hara plays the role of a youth who is. possessed with the idea to make good in spite of his timidity, andj sets; as his, prime goal a, promotion which will bring him the right to marry the girl he loves, SATURDAY NIGHT. RASH PRIVATES. “Rash privates’’ a joyous comedy of the American Army of Occupation, is to be screened to-morrow night. Lya De Putt', noted Continental star, will be seen, in her fifth Amtenicanmade photoplay, which is said to embrace lien best and most sympathetic role. Malcolm McGregor, a typical young college graduate, is ope of the rash privates, and gets, as it were, in Dutch, with the little German girl, played by Miss De Putti. MOCKERY. One of the most remarkable pictures ever shown is “Mockery,” also to be presented to-morro,w night. It is a story of unprecedented adventure during the opening, phases of the Red Terror in, Russ'a. Against this bloodstirring background Is depicted the strange struggle between a typical peasant, gradually beginning to realise his power, and a White Army Officer for. the love of a young counters. TURUA PICTURES. ACROSS THE PACIFIC. In “Across the Pacific,” showing at the Turua Hall to-morrow, there is romance, intrigue, and adventure against the colourful and' picturesque background of the tropic®, San Francisco’s Chinatown as it was before the earthquake, and the Fhillipiuc Islands during the Spanish-American war. Native, spies, beautiful halfcaste women, apd a devil-may-caiie hero who reeks death at any cast; but tragedy gives way finally before the courage, and daring of the hehoine. DANCE 1 MAGIC. On Tuesday next will be screened “Dance Magic,” a strong and enter*tailing comedy. There are also good supports.
