CLUB FOOTBALL MATCHES.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —While reading in the last; issue of the “Gazette,” “A Player’s” view and opinion on club football, I could not help smiling at the 'Unnecessary and undue criticism of tlie Paeroa Rugby Union. Is your correspondent aware that about three weeks ago a senior match was arranged, the result was that about six players turned up ? Now was that the' fault of the union ? My opinion is that the players have themselves to blame. If they arranged a match the .union would not hesitate in offering the ground. Let us hope that a match lias been arranged for next Saturday to keep Paeroa alive. ANOTHER PLAYER.
