At the meeting of the Paeroa Domain Board on Thursday several members, referred to the improvement in the domain by the removal of the hedge, surrounding tilt bowling green. Mr Edwards said that at first he had hated the idea of losing the fine collection of rosea but now it was done the improvement was very marked. The chairman' (Mr, W. Marshall) said the rises were very pretty but the rest of the hedge was shabby, and he had wanted to see it down for many years past.
